Description: “In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks”. Nature walk is a great opportunity to connect oneself with reality and respect the beauty of nature. A nature walk was organized for class Nursery and Kindergarten students of Somerville School, Greater Noida to inculcate love for mother nature. They were encouraged to observe different types of plants , fruits , vegetables and herbs available in the school. They were explained about the process of how plants grow and the efforts made by the Gardeners and farmers who take care of the plants. Children also witnessed the different types of leaves, texture of bark and twigs , butterfly and bees. It helped the children to co- relate well with environment and imbibe the feeling of being one with Nature. The toddlers enjoyed in the lap of nature thereby making learning more fun filled and joyous.
