Dr. Mary Thomas has had an illustrious teaching career spanning more than 32 years. She joined the Somerville family as the Head Mistress of Somerville School, Greater NOIDA in April, 2006 and thereafter took charge as Principal of the school in April, 2008. She has been an eminent educationist and believes in absolute dedication to the job and determination, whether we win or lose, we must apply the best of ourselves in the task. Somerville School, Greater NOIDA has attained glory and carved a niche for itself in NCR under her able and conscientious guidance.

She was awarded ‘C.B.S.E. award for Teachers’ by the Honourable HRD Minister Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani on 4th September 2014, at Manekshaw Centre, Delhi for her meritorious contribution to the field of education. There are four pillars on which one can build a platform to touch the horizons of success: determination, dedication, devotion and discipline and she is an ardent follower of these principles. She has the capacity to translate vision into reality and rekindle our inner spirit.
