Description: “Success comes from going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.” – Winston Churchill Somerville School Greater NOIDA organised a felicitation ceremony to honour the toppers of classes X & XII for their impeccable achievements in the Board Examinations held in March 2022. The felicitation enhanced the morale of the students and gave recognition to their commendable academic achievements. Principal Dr. Mary Thomas lit the inaugural lamp to seek the blessings of Almighty Lord along with the class teachers of Class XII for the session 2021-22 which was followed by a hymn led by the western music choir of the school. The Principal of the school, Dr Mary Thomas addressed the gathering by praising the students for their excellent academic scores and continuing the legacy of the school by surpassing previous years’ records. Recalling the efforts of teachers and the help offered by parents for the stupendous academic score, she reiterated her wish to see top scoring students emerging with flying colours in life as well. While expressing her desire to see these students as successful alumni in future, she urged them to keep the flag of Somerville School Greater NOIDA fluttering high. All together around 45 students were awarded by Principal, Dr. Mary Thomas . It was an equally memorable day for the parents of the awardees. The event was earmarked with the beautiful cultural performances by the students of the school along with a melodious motivational song. All the parents were extremely delighted to be the part and parcel of this eventful occasion. The event culminated with the hope that coming years will see more and more students being felicitated. It is imperative to understand that felicitation is an acknowledgement of the achievements and the confidence it infuses on being recognized is unparallel
