  • VISITS TO THE L.C.B.M. PROJECTS
    The school organizes trips to the LCBM school projects to sensitize the students as to how children from humble backgrounds have their own dreams and aspirations that they strive to achieve.

    The Management of Lott Carey Baptist Mission comprising of Mr. D.K. Chetsingh, (President L.C.B.M. in India and Chairman Somerville Schools), Mr. Thomas T. Roy, (Secretary/Treasurer L.C.B.M. in India, and Superintendant L.C.B.M. Charitable Trust), Mrs. D. A. Tressler, (Director, Somerville Schools), Dr. Cherian Joseph, Member of Governing Body L.C.B.M. in India, along with the Principal Dr. Mary Thomas, teachers Mrs. Nupur Srivastava and Mrs. Libina Alex and 5 students of Somerville School, Greater NOIDA visited Somerville Non-Formal Education Project, Faridabad on 8th December 2011. The children were distributed individual packets containing eatables and stationery items.



    One such visit was undertaken to the Lott Carey Baptist Mission Primary School in Meerut Cantt. This charitable school for economically weaker section of the society was established in 1950. The children were at their immaculate best. It was evident from their performance of hymns, songs and recitation that a lot of learning was taking place and their talents were being honed. The Head Girl aspired to become a pilot. School bags, bottles, sweets, pencil boxes, crayons, etc. were distributed to the children. The glint in their eyes left nothing unsaid.



    VISIT FROM STUDENTS OF SOMERVILLE ASHA DEEP SCHOOL

    Students of Somerville ‘Ashadeep’ Shiksha Kendra, Pankha Road, New Delhi visited our School and were entertained by our students. This school is a project of Lott Carey Baptist Mission catering to physically handicapped children from economically weaker sections of the society. Various music, dance and art activities were organized in which our students got an opportunity to interact with them and learn the value of compassion and care. POOR BOX FUND

    Our students collect money every month for the poor box fund which is utilized by the school in helping the poor children.

    Students of Somerville Viklang School visited our school and were entertained by our students. Various music, dance and art activities were organized in which our students got an opportunity to interact with them and learn the value of compassion and care.
